There is a 2nd set in the 80's that opens with Sugar Mag into Scarlet, but no fire. I think it goesfrom there into Man Smart??????????

here's a Scarlet>Sugar Mag. Of course I prefer Fire myself. This show was way special to me even though it doesn't translate as much if you weren't there.

This is the show that forever changed me and High Flow

7/16/90 is also like the Alpine Valley version.

I might be biased because I'm a huge Scarlet fan and 7/16/90 was my first show, but this differs from other versions of this pairing in that during the transition they are literally playing both tunes simultaneously. One by one (quickly, perhaps too quickly), they make their way from Sugar to Scarlet. I was hoping to hear something similar in other shows (Alpine, etc) but didn't.

The downside of this version is that a verse of Scarlet is skipped, and it doesn't go in to Fire, which was a shame.

Thanks for the recommendation, I think-lol.

I listened to this and do think its a nice tight later generation show and there are several clean recordings here.

Unfortunately, I was looking at the nice set list and then caught the length of the songs. Does it bother anyone else that they play a 4:50 Fantasy? Why bother or tease? that was not the GD I fell in love with, and damn if this wasn't one of the better late 80's shows.

I hate to say it but IA has spoiled me to the 60's and 70's shows. At least till May 77', even my first shows in late 77' were nice but not the stuff of the previous years. I know why but it still kind feels like we were shorted something.

I do remember 88' being a good year for shows, the Greeks that year were fun, worth a listen if ya like this one.

not the 80's but 4/27/91, set II goes: "spacey jam->sugar mags->scarlet->fire"
